The 9th house in Vedic astrology is knowns as Dharm Bhava( the house of righteousness) represents one of the three trine houses alongside the 1st and 5th house. It is concerned with one’s religious beliefs, moral conduct, conscience, luck and ethics. It also shows one’s religious beliefs, whether the person is liberal or conservative in his/her mindset. Charitable and noble donations are also seen through this house. One's father, good past karma, long distance travels, pilgrimage etc. are seen through this house.

Body parts associated with the ninth house are hips and thighs.

Venus' position in 9th house looks like a great position on cards but Venus in this house limits the expanse of Venus. The native's father may be an artist or in general may possess a very pleasant personality. If this Venus forms some connection with the 7th house lord, the native may get married to a foreigner. These natives like to travel to places with scenic beauty such as lakes, rivers etc. They may go to a foreign land to study music or other fine arts.

But Venus in the house of religion and philosophy finds it difficult to express. They may possess a very moralistic approach to relationships.

Venus in the 9th house bestows a love for travel and exploration, prompting individuals to seek out new experiences and broaden their horizons through encounters with different cultures, traditions, and belief systems. They may find fulfillment in journeys that expand their intellectual and spiritual horizons, fostering a deeper understanding of the world and their place within it.

However, while Venus in the 9th house bestows blessings of beauty and harmony, it is essential for individuals to guard against excessive indulgence or superficiality in matters of faith or belief. They should strive to cultivate a deeper understanding of spiritual truths and philosophical principles, transcending mere aesthetic appreciation to embrace the profound wisdom inherent in their chosen path.
